About Lumeve Ultrasound

Lumeve was created with a simple intention
to offer a softer way to meet your baby.

The name Lumeve is shaped by light and new life.

“Lum” reflects a gentle sense of light, while “eve” represents something just beginning, soft and full of possibility. The L is also inspired by my two boys, making it deeply personal as well.

Alongside that, Lumeve is grounded in both personal meaning and clinical experience.

Founded by an experienced female sonographer with over a decade of clinical practice, Lumeve bridges medical expertise with an intimate, design-led environment. Every session is guided with precision yet delivered with warmth.

Unlike traditional imaging clinics, Lumeve is a private, appointment-only studio in Melbourne’s east. Here, scans are unhurried. The lighting is gentle. The space is intentionally calm.

    At Lumeve, we follow ALARA safety principles, keeping exposure as low as reasonably possible while still capturing beautiful images. Each session is carefully monitor and appropriately timed.

    Our space is calm and unhurried, allowing you to enjoy a gentle bonding experience while always keeping your baby’s wellbeing as our priority.

  • No referral is required to book a session at Lumeve. You’re welcome to book directly at any stage of your pregnancy.

    Our sessions are non-diagnostic and focused on bonding, connection and experience rather than medical assessment.

    If you have medical concerns or symptoms, we always recommend speaking with your GP, midwife or obstetrician.

  • Lumeve offers a different kind of ultrasound experience, one that is focused on connection rather than diagnosis.

    Hospital and clinic ultrasound are designed for medical assessment, measurements and reporting, often within structured timeframes.

    At Lumeve, sessions are unhurried and experience led, creating a calm, private space for you to see your baby and connect in a more personal way.

    This is a non-diagnostic pregnancy ultrasound experience.

  • There is no single best time to book your pregnancy ultrasound. Each stage of pregnancy offers something unique to see and remember.

    Earlier weeks often show gentle movements and first glimpses, while later stages reveal more defined features and expressions.

    For clearer facial features in 3D and 4D ultrasound imaging, and for the most lifelike moments, we generally recommend visiting between 25 and 32 weeks of pregnancy.

    For those who wish to make this moment more special, a softly guided gender reveal experience is available, with lighting and a recorded moment to keep.

  • Absolutely. Lumeve is designed as a shared experience. Partners, children, and loved ones are always welcome to join and celebrate this moment together.

  • Evening appointments can be gently arranged upon request, depending on availability.

    During our soft opening period, these sessions are offered at the same rate.
